The slice of Sardinia that has been put online goes from Bosa to Cabras without forgetting the territory of Arbus. The project is called “ AltrOvest Sardinia – The island you don't know! ” and has the objective of promoting the riches that are undervalued today, those of central-western Sardinia. A way to divert tourists to these territories as well.

With this intent, a website was created that aims to show the particularities of the entire west coast. Inside there is all the information to get to know and visit this area of the island. From beaches to culture and art. Information also regarding the sports to bring. What to eat, how to reach the localities, what are the scheduled events and much more.

The project, which was presented at the Giovanni Marongiu civic museum in Cabras, involves numerous institutional actors with a coordination role. There is the Fishing Flag, the Gal Sinis, Terras de Olia and Linas Campidano, the Unions of the Municipalities Costa del Sinis Terra dei Giganti, Montiferru and Alto Campidano, della Planargia, Terralbese, Monte Linas – Dune di Piscinas, the Area Marina Protetta del Sinis and also the Municipality of Oristano. For a total of 37 municipalities and a total population of more than 140,000 inhabitants. The AltrOvest.it website is already available both in Italian, but also in English and French.
