Scam against a 54-year-old entrepreneur from Cagliari who fell into the trap of an advertiser after finding a new Land Rover on a website, worth about 50 thousand euros, for only 31 thousand. After contacting the seller by telephone, having received the necessary reassurances on the year of registration, on the kilometers traveled and on the condition of the car, he accepted the request to pay 31 thousand euros with two bank transfers to the advertiser's account.

The vehicle never arrived in Sardinia. The 54-year-old from Cagliari, after several attempts to find the seller, naturally unsuccessful, understood that he had been scammed and decided to tell everything to the carabinieri of the Cagliari - Sant'Avendrace station.

The military, following the flow of money with the collaboration of the banks concerned, identified the user of the cell phone used to contact the victim and came to identify a 72-year-old Roman, already known for identical businesses, who was denounced.
