Perhaps the 58-year-old man found dead this afternoon in his home in via Garibaldi in Burcei was the victim of an accident.

The man, Cesare Aledda, 58, an electrician, should have fallen from the house ladder causing a skull base fracture. The coroner Roberto Demontis carried out the necropsy report reconstructing what happened. In any case, to dispel any doubts, the magistrate ordered the necropsy of the body which will be carried out tomorrow at the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the Monserrato Polyclinic.

No traces of violence or a struggle were found on the spot.

The alarm was triggered in the afternoon, when the victim's father made the macabre discovery with the immediate arrival of the carabinieri who, coordinated by Captain Michele Cerri and Lieutenant Ignazio Cabras, intervened in Burcei carrying out an initial inspection with the soldiers of the Station. The soldiers of the Cagliari investigative unit are also at work. The magistrate ordered the arrival of the coroner.

Tomorrow the autopsy could definitively clarify what happened, also establishing the cause of the fall.
