The call came in late in the evening. The woman, attacked by her Romanian ex-partner, was able to provide very few details about her whereabouts : she was in a panic, while the man attacked her furiously . The call was triangulated, accompanied by intense patrol activity in the area. The officers remained on the phone with the victim, despite the ongoing violence, until they managed to locate the home . When the Carabinieri arrived , the man was repeatedly attempting to attack his ex-partner, who showed up with blood-soaked clothes .

The intervention was providential. The woman was rescued from the attacker's fury and entrusted to the care of paramedics at Olbia hospital . The man, who also allegedly resisted and refused to provide his personal details, was arrested on charges of mistreatment and assault.

This is not an isolated incident. Just a few days ago, the State Police arrested another man in Budoni on charges of domestic abuse, confirming a phenomenon that continues to cause serious concern and has law enforcement engaged on multiple fronts in the fight against gender-based violence.

This incident represents the most serious incident to emerge during the extensive extraordinary patrol of the territory conducted over the weekend by the Carabinieri of the Siniscola Company . Several driving licenses were confiscated and eleven people were reported at large: seven drivers were caught driving with a blood alcohol level well above the legal limit.
