No stops. On the contrary: at the Brotzu in Cagliari the procedures for the creation of the new technological plate are going forward which, among other innovations, will equip the hospital with 12 new operating rooms.
The resolution of the general manager Agnese Foddis dates back to a few days ago (June 30) which announces the tender «for the assignment of the verification service of the preliminary, definitive and executive design and of the related BIM models inherent to the intervention "Piastra Tecnologica per l 'Emergency–Urgency'. A job worth over 700 thousand euros (for a total project of 65 million), necessary with the entry into force of the new procurement code: the preliminary draft, drawn up by the Tuscan company that won the contract, must be validated. Then we will be sent with the definitive and towards the opening of the construction site.
The risk therefore now seems behind us that the huge funds earmarked for the improvements of the Brotzu will be revoked to be sacrificed on the altar of the new hospital wanted by the Regional Council.
After weeks of tensions, triggered by the resolution of Villa Devoto on June 1st, the centre-right majority seems to have found a synthesis. Everything is done: the new hospital, but also the new Brotzu wing, and even the stadium.
And today the mayor of Cagliari Paolo Truzzu and the senator of the Brothers of Italy Antonella Zedda also met at the San Michele: they defended the new works at the Brotzu from the first moment of the clash with the presidency of the Region.
