After 18 months of inertia , the Sassari-Alghero process is unlocked and the Brothers of Italy in Alghero express their great satisfaction. «Thanks to the initiative of the honorable Mauro Rotelli, president of the VIII Commission for the Environment, Territory and Public Works of the Chamber of Deputies, of the honorable Gianni Lampis, Barbara Polo and Antonella Zedda, all of Fratelli d'Italia, and of the Prefect of Sassari Paola Dessì and the signing of the agreement with Anas by President Solinas, the process for the completion of the four-lane Sassari-Alghero road is finally unlocked», declares Marco Di Gangi, Alghero coordinator of Fratelli d'Italia.

"The meeting wanted by our parliamentarians was decisive in unblocking a situation that had been stalemate since December 2021, when the position of Commissioner was given to the president of the regional council", underlines Monica Pulina, council leader of FdI, also in the his capacity as president of the Public Works Commission. «Finally, the mechanism that should lead to the start and completion of the works for the completion of the Sassari Alghero and Sassari Olbia lines has been set in motion», adds Pulina.

Now the coordinator Di Gangi hopes that Anas will proceed expeditiously, as far as it is responsible, "to enforce the deadlines and equip Sardinia with two road infrastructures essential for the regional economy and to meet the growing mobility needs internal".
