The Customs and Monopolies Agency launches today the second spot of the fourth edition of the institutional communication campaign "Portala Sardegna nel Cuore".

Since its launch in 2021, this initiative has represented a fundamental pillar in promoting environmental protection and enhancing the natural beauty of the island. This year, the campaign was enriched by the participation of sprinter Dalia Kaddari, Sardinian pride and promise of Italian athletics .

In the second spot, other exceptional testimonials, the Tenores of Bitti, oral and intangible heritage of humanity recognized by UNESCO : a touch of authentic Sardinian tradition to the countryside, strengthening the deep bond between culture and territory.

The spots, broadcast on the Agency's social media channels and on selected airport, train and subway circuits, aim to raise awareness among tourists and citizens about the importance of protecting the Sardinian ecosystem. The removal of sand, shells and pebbles from beaches - it is emphasized - is not only an act of environmental irresponsibility, but also constitutes a crime punishable by law. The sanctions are severe and aim to preserve the natural resources of the Island for future generations.
