A 64-year-old man was found dead this evening in Bosa. The alarm was raised around 7:00 PM, when the Bosa 118 ambulance requested assistance from the Macomer fire department to rescue a person. The man, a resident of Via Pietro Delitala, had not been heard from for several days.

The firefighters intervened to force open the front door of the home. Once inside, the rescuers, along with 118 paramedics, found the man already deceased. It was impossible to do anything other than pronounce him dead.

Carabinieri from the Macomer station also responded to the scene, conducting the usual checks, and the Bosa doctor on duty, who was responsible for officially certifying the death. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of death.
