During the search on the farm of a 60-year-old from Mores, the soldiers of the operational and mobile radio unit of the Bonorva company, assisted by personnel from the Cacciatori Sardegna heliborne squadron of Abbasanta and the local station, found 109 bottles of various medicines for veterinary use of foreign origin illicitly imported, without ministerial authorisations, for a value on the Italian market of approximately 10 thousand euros.

The company manager, a 35-year-old Romanian national, is in trouble.

On site, personnel from the ASL Sassari veterinary service found serious administrative irregularities against the owner of the land and proceeded to block the movement of the livestock to ascertain the possible presence of harmful or illegal substances administered.

The Romanian citizen was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Sassari.

Further investigations into the origin and possible use of the drugs are underway.
