«With this title, the Municipal Administration intends to pay homage to a professionally cultured and innovative teacher in teaching methodologies, endowed with profound humanity and affection towards both students and families, dedicated with incessant kindness, for the entire duration of the 'teaching activities, training and education of girls and boys'.

With this motivation, the municipality of Bonnanaro administered by the mayor Giovanni Antonio Carta wanted to name the lower secondary school after the late Lisetta Puggioni.

A ceremony attended by educational institutions and administrators, during which the commemorative plaque located outside the building was unveiled.

Lisetta Puggioni, known to all as "Maestra Lisetta", was born on 20 October 1955 and died due to an incurable disease on 23 January 2001. Well-liked by all her students, but also by the entire town of Meilogu , left an indelible memory in those who knew her. A few years ago, the primary school, which had not been active for some years, was named after her. The lower secondary school is attended not only by the children of Bonnanaro, but also by those of Torralba.
