Bomb destroys a doctor's house, a near tragedy in Sedini

Intimidating act during the night in Sedini . A bomb exploded in front of a house on the outskirts of the village, damaging the building.

There was no one in the house at the time of the attack.

The house is owned by a doctor who lives in southern Sardinia and who uses it occasionally.

The fire brigade intervened on the spot and made the structure safe, together with the carabinieri who are now investigating the episode.

This is the second act of intimidation in 24 hours in the province of Sassari . Last night a home-made bomb damaged a restaurant in Benetutti .
