Black forecasts for autumn on the job front in Sardinia. In the period October-December 2022, companies plan to reduce calls by 11% compared to the same period last year.
And they already know that 45% of the figures requested will not find candidates who will be able to respond. The heaviest collapse: in the province of Cagliari.
The data are contained in the latest Unioncamere report which every month, in collaboration with Anpal (National Employment Agency), analyzes the state of health of the national labor market, with the breakdown region by region.
ITALY. Throughout the country, we read, "477,000 are scheduled to be hired by companies for the month of October and 1.2 million for the quarter October-December, with a decrease compared to the previous year of 5.4% in the month and 10.4% in the quarter ".
SARDINIA. For the island the absolute numbers are enormously reduced. The hires expected in October are 10,460 (75.6% in the services sector), 26,630 instead those assumed for the quarter.
Last year the numbers were 10,580 and 29,480 respectively. The decline in the final period of the year is evident. Drastically driving down the forecasts is the province of Cagliari, which loses over 3,500 possible wages. Instead, Sassari and Nuoro rise, albeit slightly.
