Bike bonus, the "Shift to bike" project arrives in Cagliari: this is how it works

One more bike, one less car. It is not a slogan but a concept that well summarizes the objective that the Municipality of Cagliari has with the "Shift to bike" project .

For all residents of Cagliari , but also for all employees who work in the city for a company or school that has appointed a Mobility Management and approved a PSCL / PSCS (Home-to-Work Travel Plan/Home-School Travel Plan), starting from tomorrow morning 11 July, there is the possibility of obtaining a bonus for buying a bicycle: 500 euros for those who buy a pedal assisted bike , 150 euros for those who buy a traditional (muscle) bicycle instead.

The resources , 400 thousand euros of Pon Metro React-Eu funds, will allow the possibility of requesting the bonus (on the website of the municipality of Cagliari) until 15 October. Limited resources, while stocks last. Translated: whoever intended to buy a bike, do it quickly.
The contribution will be granted only for brand new vehicles and cannot exceed 50% of the final price (VAT included). The request for an incentive must be presented by accessing the website of the Municipality of Cagliari www.comune.cagliari.it in the online applications section after accreditation via SPID or CIE, by filling in a form.
