In Mandas and Portoscuso the fire approached the houses and at least a dozen families were evacuated for safety. "The flames resumed with force - explains the mayor of Mandas, Umberto Oppus - and after lunch some families left the house because the flames were getting closer and closer". Some of them even tried to put out the fire on their own.
The operations were coordinated by the staff of the Senorbì Forestry Station with the helicopter personnel on board the helicopters from the CFVA helicopter bases in Villasalto, San Cosimo, Fenosu, Sorgono and two Candair, plus the A500.
3 teams from the Forestas Agency from the Isili, Villanovatulo and Senorbì shipyards, a team from the Mandas Fire Brigade, took part.

A team from the Forestas Agency, a team from the Ales firefighters and 3 teams of volunteers intervened.
Finally, in Villanova Monteleone in the "Sa Rena" area, the shutdown was coordinated by the staff of the Forestry Corps Station of Villanova Monteleone, with the personnel transported aboard the helicopter from the helicopter base of the CFVA in Limbara, Alà, Bosa, and a national Drago 144 vehicle intervened. 3 teams from the Forestas Agency, a team from the Alghero Fire Brigade and a team of volunteers were in operation.

SETTIMO SAN PIETRO - In Settimo San Pietro the fire attacked an area on the outskirts of the town with the intervention of the foresters and the firefighters who extinguished the fire and made the site safe.
