Barumini and Marmilla at the Munich Fair: "The German market's view of Sardinia"

Barumini and its beauties showcased in Munich. Following its success at the BIT in Milan, the Fondazione Barumini Sistema Cultura is entering the German market with its participation in F.RE.E., one of Germany's most important tourism and leisure trade fairs. This represents a strategic opportunity to showcase an offering increasingly focused on sustainability, responsibility, and the quality of the cultural experience.

"Participation in national and international fairs and events," emphasizes Emanuele Lilliu, president of the Barumini Sistema Cultura Foundation, "is the heart of our work. The Foundation does not limit itself to effectively and increasingly qualified management of its local sites, making them fully accessible to visitors, or to organizing cultural and scientific events in the Casa Zapata, the Museum, and the Lilliu Center. We also work on national and international projects like these to promote the culture, identity, and history of archaeological Sardinia and its Nuragic heritage."

"Creating and strengthening promotional channels," Lilliu continues, "means making Barumini and Sardinia increasingly visible and recognizable around the world. It's a key lever for increasing visitor numbers, strengthening the local economy not only of Barumini but of the wider area and the entire region, and sharing our history and archaeology alongside major cultural institutions, thanks also to the synergy with key organizations like the Giara Plateau and Villanovafranca Foundations."

The Foundation's next steps will see it take center stage at some of the industry's most important events: Tourisma in Florence , from February 27th to March 1st (shared stand with the Altopiano della Giara Foundation and the Villanovafranca Foundation); ITB Berlin, March 3rd-5th; Le Salon Mondial du Tourisme, Paris, March 12th-15th (shared stand with the Altopiano della Giara Foundation and the Villanovafranca Foundation); Do the Right Thing! – Milan, March 13th-15th (inside the Sardinia Region stand).
