Bari Sardo, the worker who fell from the scaffolding is stable. He remains hospitalized at Brotzu

The conditions of Fabio Piras, the 38-year-old worker from Bari Sardo who fell from the scaffolding, are stable. The man remains hospitalized in the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari where he arrived yesterday afternoon aboard the Areus Echo Lima 3 helicopter based at Elmas.

The surgery on his head, which he underwent in the hours following the accident at work to reduce the cerebral hematoma, was perfectly successful and the patient is now being monitored by health personnel. He also suffered a shoulder fracture in the fall.

The accident happened around noon , when Piras was busy assembling insulated panels in a building in via Torino, a side street of via Tortolì.
