Marco Mura, 43, a convict in the town, and a 64-year-old man from Padua, also already known to the police, ended up in handcuffs.
Yesterday the carabinieri of the Lanusei company found them in possession of 30 kilos of cocaine and 300 thousand euros in cash.
The banknotes were kept inside a bag.
The two men were locked up in the San Daniele prison in Lanusei at the behest of prosecutor Giovanna Morra.
