The Municipal Library of Baressa launches the "Librarian for a Day" initiative. It is the latest idea of the structure, open to all those who want to be librarians for a day, from 6 to 100 years old. It will be possible to participate until 9 September, by booking at the premises of the structure.

With this project, aimed at both children and adults, the user will be able to cover the role of librarian for one day and carry out all the activities that normally take place on a day open to the public. The "librarian for a day" will thus have his own personal card, will have to explain the various activities to be carried out and manage loans and requests, register users, catalog new books, label them and other activities.

A different, inclusive way through which the cooperative that manages the library (“Comes” and “Agorà”) presents itself to the population. «The "new librarians" - let the structure know - will manage all these activities throughout the day, welcoming all the users who will go to the library on that day. At the end of the day they will also receive their certificate.
