From today, taking a selfie with the background of the Foradada island will be easier and safer. The sea view on the cliff from which the spectacular islet can be admired was protected by a balustrade, thus preventing the more daring from leaning over the limestone rock with the risk of sliding down.

The Porto Conte Park also installed a platform that leads to a suggestive balcony overlooking the sea protected by sturdy railings.

The intervention of the Park is part of the project to make the naturalistic paths of the Capo Caccia geosite safe, financed by the Regional Labor Department through the ASPAL.

"We have found a solution to a problem that has been dragging on for some time - comments the director of the Park, Mariano Mariani - both from the point of view of safe access and accessibility for all. An absolutely low-impact platform has been designed and built. , removable, simply supported and ballasted without any alteration of the places for the sole purpose of managing the accesses in safety, giving everyone the opportunity to admire the landscape; in this way the use of the site will be even more careful not to disturb the species and to protect habitats ".
