Another episode of abuse practiced by a baby gang whose mission is to beat up unfortunate peers in groups. This time the bullies also threatened a city councilor. The episode happened last night, Tuesday 24 July, around 7pm, in the center of Porto Torres. Ico Bruzzi , representative of Sardinia at the 20 Venti centre , intervened to quell an attack by a group of five children against two of their peers. Pushes and insults, threats that risked degenerating into something else. The councilor only invited the gang to move away, he tried to make them reason to avoid much more serious consequences, instead of the classic "turn the other way" he chose to confront them with words without losing control.

The bullies' response was verbal aggression, heavy and provocative, a baby gang ready to replace the target, from the two defenseless kids to the adult who tried to separate them. From words they threatened to move on to deeds. «This is the most disturbing aspect, when kids form a pack they lose all respect for any human being, and violence and rudeness prevails, even towards adults and the elderly», explains Ico Bruzzi, «kids whose underlying violence is too often tolerated by families, and for this reason good education and civil coexistence are lost."

In the city center there are several incidents of bullying recorded against very young people, baby gangs that act during walking hours. The latter happened in via Petronia, others occurred in via Azuni and in piazza Garibaldi. Acts of violence practiced by minors aged 14-15. Increasingly frequent phenomena that require careful reflection. «We try to teach our children respect - said Franco Satta, president of the city council - especially for people much older than them, who learn education and moderation, before certain situations can degenerate with unpredictable consequences. Because depending on who they collide with, serious problems could arise for families too. We need to keep the kids under control."
