A baby dolphin died this morning after being injured by a propeller.

The small mammal was noticed by some swimmers around 9 am as it moved with difficulty in the crystalline waters of Costa Rei, in front of the beach of Villa Rei, on the coast of Castiadas .

Having noticed the deep cut, the Captaincy was immediately alerted, but unfortunately there was nothing they could do: the little dolphin died shortly after, throwing into despair the many who had hoped to be able to save his life.

Some Forestry men arrived on the beach, with a biologist, who took over the carcass.
