They tried to enter the room by smashing the glass with stones, but the incursion was unsuccessful. It happened at 3.30 in Piazza Santa Maria in Quartu, where the Cafè Longe Bar Sa Prazza was targeted.

Once again in the area, on the border with Viale Colombo, thugs have left their mark. First they tried to break the glass with a stone then, failing to do so, they took away one of the large tiles that support the umbrellas of the nearby Locanda Caddeo, «but they didn't succeed with that either» explains the owner of Sa Prazza, Giorgia Trincas, «ours are shatterproof and bulletproof glass and it is almost impossible to break them. The fact remains that now we will have to replace it and the expense will be huge and that we will have to pay for night security again."

The images of the attempted incursion are all in the frames of the video cameras of Sa Prazza and nearby premises. We see a young man covered by a scarf throwing the stone against the glass "and two acting as his goalposts" says the owner again, "we have no doubt that one was a woman". We took the images to the police, but unfortunately the issue is always the same: they cannot be used to arrest the culprits because they must be caught in the act of committing a crime. In practice we feel more and more alone and defenseless against these people."
