A school but also an exhibition space, the Art High School of Sassari offers the contemporary art exhibition “It Was a Dark and Stormy Night”. The exhibition will remain open to the public during school opening hours, offering students, art enthusiasts and the curious the opportunity to immerse themselves in the various works exhibited in the institute's gallery.
On display are 23 works that bear the signature of teachers and technical assistants of the school. The variety of the works exhibited reflects the multiplicity of study paths present in the high school : the techniques used range from acrylic and oil painting, to ink graphics, to sculptural installations, up to innovative experiments that blend different materials. The works thus express the artistic identity of each author and the continuous search for new expressive languages.
