Drugs and packaging material is what the agents of the Anti-Crime Section of the Iglesias Commissariat recovered from the home of a 58-year-old local during a search .

The man was arrested for possession and production of drugs for the purpose of dealing.

The policemen entered his home yesterday morning and seized about 262 grams of marijuana ready to be marketed, about 155 grams of hashish , a precision electronic slingbar, a switchblade , various material to package the doses and 90 euros, deemed proceeds from the illegal activity.

The validation hearing is scheduled for today.
