A Senegalese citizen , ready to leave Sardinia for Dakar , was stopped at Elmas airport with 20,000 euros not declared .

The discovery during the checks by the officials of the Customs Office of Cagliari and the Guardia di Finanza .

The man made use of the right to make the payment of the penalty immediately and therefore to a reduced extent , equal to 5% of the amount exceeding the permitted limit of 10 thousand euros.
