The Carabinieri of the Sadali Station reported four people, all residents of Sardinia, for waste abandonment at the end of two different operations.

In the first case, the three owners of a company where various types of waste were found in a state of deterioration and abandonment were reported to the judicial authorities, including a rusty refrigerator and disused tires of various sizes, as well as plastic and wooden boxes and a roll of metal fencing.

In the second case, the user of a piece of land where tires of various sizes and asbestos cement sheets were found was reported. In both cases, the areas were seized.

These are, explains the Arma, interventions in favor of the protection of the environment and the territory, with particular attention to rural areas, often subject to illegal waste abandonment.
