Arzachena, man falls off hairpin bend with off-road vehicle: serious

There were moments of concern around 1 p.m. in the hamlet of Abbiadori, in the municipality of Arzachena, where an off-road vehicle, for reasons yet to be determined, went off the road on a stretch of hairpin bends.

The vehicle, a 4x4, overturned and ended up in the valley, ending up on the roadway below. There was only one person on board, who was immediately taken to the scene by the air ambulance crew.

Firefighters from the Arzachena detachment intervened to secure the vehicle and the surrounding area, preventing further risks.

The 118 paramedics and the local police of Arzachena also arrived at the scene of the accident, busy with surveys to reconstruct the dynamics of the incident.
