In Sassari, an Arst bus with two passengers and the driver on board goes off the road in Viale Sicilia, breaks through a fence and is blocked by a tree, which stops its travel before it can fall into an embankment.

It happened at around 6pm when the vehicle, headed for Sorso and coming from the Viale Sicilia overpass, for reasons yet to be ascertained, ended up against the fence of the nearby kindergarten, bending the bars. Then – fortunately – it stopped against the tree.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters, local police and 118 intervened on site.
