But the strong current swept them offshore and they were unable to return to shore.
Thus ended the day at sea of three men in tragedy: two were saved by lifeguards, but the third unfortunately lost consciousness and drowned .
The victim is a 50-year-old from Ostiano (Cremona).
The tragedy took place today shortly after noon in Arbus, in the stretch of water in front of the Pistis beach .
On the spot the helicopter rescue and the men of the Coast Guard of Arbus and Oristano. The 118 doctors tried for a long time to revive the 50-year-old, but there was nothing to be done.
