Arbus, in the car an old repainted revolver with no serial number

The Carabinieri of the Arbus station reported a 56-year-old local worker, already known to the police, for illegal possession and carrying of weapons.

During a vehicle search, the man was found in possession of an old revolver, apparently without a brand or serial number and probably not working .

The weapon had been repainted and will have to be subjected to checks by the ballistics section of the RIS of Cagliari .

The 56-year-old, the military said, was unable to give any indication as to the origin of the revolver.
