Andrea Pintus may have died after attempting to disarm his brother Alessandro, who was completely out of control at the time after he had fired a gunshot at Solanas's wife Michela Rubiu, less than half an hour earlier, at 5:40 a.m. last Thursday. The gunshot struck her in the head and left her near death (she remains in critical condition, but stable). This appears to have been the culmination of yet another argument in an increasingly stormy and troubled relationship.
