Anas is working with snowplows on Sardinia's roads after the cold snap.
The main interventions in the territories of Seui, Ussassai, Fonni and GavoiFollowing the wave of wind and cold that hit Sardinia, Anas is working with personnel and equipment to ensure traffic flow on state roads affected by low temperatures and snowfall. Approximately 30 workers and 12 service vehicles, salt spreaders, and snowplows are operational in the provinces of Nuoro, Ogliastra, Oristano, and the Gerrei area. In northern Sardinia, six vehicles and 12 workers are active.
The roads most affected by the interventions are the state road 128 “Centrale Sarda”, the 198 “di Seui e Lanusei”, the 389 “di Buddusò e del Correboi”, the 389 Var and the 125 “Orientale Sarda” and also the 131, in the section between Paulilatino and Campeda.
The main works are being carried out in the municipalities of Seui, Ussassai, Fonni, and Gavoi. All roads are currently passable.
Anas recommends that anyone traveling on roads affected by snowfall or low temperatures "follow a driving style appropriate to the road conditions and use snow chains or snow tires."
