Ambush in the center of Tadasuni on Saturday night. Two shots were fired at a passing car in Corso Impero, the main street of Tadasuni: Ugo Marceddu , a 62-year-old farmer from Ghilarza, remained miraculously unharmed while he was aboard his Volkswagen Golf.
Glass shattered while the farmer managed to escape the ambush, a true attempted murder. The police were immediately notified and began investigations. The military spoke at length to Marceddu, an old acquaintance of the police. Only a year ago he was involved in an argument in Piazza San Palmerio in Ghilarza: he stabbed a 32-year-old farmer in the abdomen and was reported for aggravated injuries.
The police are now also examining the video surveillance images which may have immortalized suspicious movements and elements useful for clarifying the episode.
