100% of the workers employed were undeclared: a slaughterhouse in Nuoro was closed and fined over 90 thousand euros.

The discovery was made by the Territorial Inspectorate of Nuoro, in collaboration with the Nil military, the Carabinieri and the staff of the Central Inspectorate for the protection of quality and the repression of fraud in agri-food products of Sassari, as part of a larger operation in the Barbagia province.

In the facility, it was found that 19 out of 19 people were working without a contract. In addition to the suspension, fines of over 9,800 euros, administrative sanctions of 79,100 euros and contributions recovered for 6,000 euros were applied.
