The disappointment of the Punta Giglio Libera Committee and not only caused the wedding banquet organized in the former military barracks by a couple of foreign tourists . A reception for a few close friends in the enchanted promontory of Punta Giglio, in the heart of the Porto Conte Park, where an accommodation facility with a restaurant and a museum has been built.

"Once again the concessionaires of the Rifugio di Mare - continues the press release - are relaunching a plurality of commercial proposals, denying the initial declarations of intent and the commitments undertaken publicly: the refuge style, the refreshment point for walkers and cyclists, frugal meals, the use of the electric vehicle only for disabled people. Faced with this umpteenth episode of private commodification of a common good, we reiterate the questions that we have immediately asked over the years: what effective control is the Park Authority implementing? ».
On the social page of the Rifugio di Mare , the images of the event which, the organizers write, " took place in full respect of the places, between soft lights and splendid natural scenery ". The former anti-aircraft emplacement of the Second World War has been entrusted, through an announcement by the State Property Agency, to a cooperative society which has made rooms and a refreshment point out of it. There is also a route to discover the Punta Giglio environmental museum.
