Alghero, unsafe structures on the roof of the civic theater

The precarious state of the two wooden structures that shield the air conditioners of the Alghero civic theater worries the residents of via Arduino and via Principe Umberto. The "boxes" with slats about 6 meters long and 2 and a half meters wide are located on the flat roof of the ancient building.

One of these slats has already fallen onto the terrace of a house in via Arduino. Others, according to tenants, threaten to break away. For this reason, also in view of the winter, there is pressure to make the two technical rooms safe. The owner of an apartment has sent a report to the municipal offices, via Pec, attaching photographic documentation.

Councilor Antonello Peru announced that the workers in the maintenance sector had carried out an inspection in the past and that they had not found any situations of imminent danger. "In any case, I want to reassure the residents of the area - said the councilor - we will immediately send a team for a further check".
