Alghero, the Coast Guard seizes a bathing establishment: it was illegal
The manager would have occupied an area of 250 square meters, partly without concession title
The soldiers of the Coast Guard of Alghero carried out a preventive seizure order issued by the Judge for preliminary investigations of the Court of Sassari, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, against the manager of a bathing establishment along the San Giovanni beach.
According to investigations carried out by the Maritime District Office, in fact, the manager would have occupied an area of 250 square metres, partly without a concession, by placing tables and chairs and having also carried out modifications without the required authorization from the managing body of maritime state property.
«The activity carried out – we read in a note – is part of the daily protection action that the Coast Guard carries out towards public maritime property with respect to any form of occupation and abusive use for profit-making purposes».
