Alghero, Tedde's complaint: "Doctors on sick leave and operating rooms closed"

Two doctors are absent due to illness and the surgical activity of the Civil Hospital of Alghero is thus suspended. The regional councilor Marco Tedde denounces it, deeming the episode unacceptable.

"The general manager should intervene in real time to provide surgery for the missing medical figures", intervenes the former mayor of Alghero worried about the situation that has arisen in the hospital on via Don Minzoni.

With two doctors out of action, the operating activity was paralyzed. «Circumstance that does not allow to guarantee the emergency/urgency activity and the surgical activity both in emergency and elective regimes. We cannot accept this sad slope of Alghero health care , today further aggravated by the closure of the surgery. The Alghero hospital is constantly in an emergency. And now it is necessary to divert patients who need surgery to other hospitals», attacks Tedde.
