They collected urchins at night, in the middle of a protected marine area, with the help of cylinders and light sources. Two underwater fishermen are in trouble intercepted by the personnel of the naval base of the Alghero forestry corps near Cala Dragunara.

The forestry agents immediately recognized both divers, because they were already known for specific precedents. Despite the attempt to get rid of part of the catch, throwing some already full containers back into the sea, the agents managed to recover and seize around 2070 sea urchins, in addition to the cylinder and the remaining equipment used.

The two fishermen, both from Alghero, were reported to the judicial authority for illegal fishing practiced with unauthorized means and in a prohibited area.
All the seized sea urchins, still viable, were released into the sea, still within the Marine Protected Area, with the help of the patrol boat in use at the Alghero Naval Base.
