Alghero, sport and aggregation at the Roth: the kids rewarded

Morning of celebration and awards ceremony at the end of the school sports year. The Roth Institute of Alghero wanted to celebrate the children who during the school year distinguished themselves in the various disciplines of the provincial and regional school sports competitions .

The meeting was held in the auditorium in via Diez , packed with students of the AFM course, sports, tourism, ITI students and those who supported and contributed to the success of this path.

Doing the honors was the director Angelo Parodi who, at the opening of the event, thanked the students for their commitment during the year and all the teachers who followed the students in all the activities both in the gym and in the classroom .

Particular thanks were addressed to those who, as outsiders, believed in the school project and contributed to creating an excellent educational and sporting path.

The Roth boys were awarded by prof. Stefano Carta , contact person for the provincial school office for physical and sports education, for correct lifestyles, who underlined the great work carried out by the Alghero school over the years , in terms of profit, results and great organization , so much so that Roth is defined as "an example of sporting excellence for the province of Sassari and for the entire Sardinia region".

A working group was created during curricular and extra-curricular time which used sport as a vehicle for aggregation, inclusion and a sense of belonging, teaching students from the youngest to the oldest, respect for the rules, for the school, for others and for themselves.

Around one hundred student athletes were awarded on a day in which sport, understood as joy and happiness, took precedence over exasperated competition, and also involved those who simply participated as spectators.

Awards were given to the five male and female categories, students and juniors involved during the year in the qualifying and final phases of the school sports competitions, announced by the provincial and regional school office for badminton, volleyball, 5-a-side football, athletics, rugby for having reached the provincial and regional finals of the respective categories.
