Porto Conte Park remains one of the most attractive destinations for those who choose Alghero for nature, culture, and outdoor experiences. The reopening of the Green Grotto on the weekend of May 1st attracted approximately 850 visitors to the Ecomuseum's various sites.
The star attraction is the cave on the eastern side of Capo Caccia, which reopened to the public on Friday and was immediately crowded with residents and tourists. Punta Giglio and Casa Gioiosa also enjoyed significant attendance, becoming increasingly popular with families thanks to the AlgueRex exhibition and live footage from the osprey nests.
The Prigionette area and the Roman Villa of Sant'Imbenia also received very positive feedback. The Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Museum in Porto Conte also performed well.
This result, according to the protected area's management, confirms the park's ability to attract diverse audiences and offer an integrated experience, where the environment, history, outreach, and sustainable tourism reinforce each other.
All Ecomuseum sites will remain open on Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday, May 3rd. Information on opening hours, reservations, and tickets is available on the algheroparks.it website and on the Ecomuseum's dedicated app.
