Alghero, Eduardo De Filippo's poems set to music at the Civico

A refined and engaging live performance promised by singer-songwriter Patrizia Cirulli on Thursday 14 December at 8.30pm at the Gavino Ballero Civic Theater in Alghero . The Milanese artist will present his latest studio work " Fantasia - Eduardo's poems in music" (Squilibri), an album that arrived in the final five of the prestigious Tenco Prize.
Accompanying the singer-songwriter on stage are Marcello Peghin ( guitars), Maria Vicentini (viola, violin, bandolim), Salvatore Maltana (double bass), Paolo Zuddas (percussion) and Mauro Palmas (cantabile lute) ; a prestigious ensemble of musicians (the same ones who took part in the recording of the album), capable of mixing ancient moods and contemporary attitude. «I'm finally returning to concert in my beloved Alghero, a city that I have frequented for years and to which I am very attached», says Patrizia Cirulli. «This work of mine on the poems of Eduardo De Filippo, which I set to music in song form, has received excellent acclaim from both the public and critics; we brought him in concert in various theaters, from Lombardy to Sicily, obviously passing through Naples. The album reached the final of the Targhe Tenco (best album in dialect) and the Tenco board invited me to the Premio Tenco at the end of October to present this work on Eduardo", says the artist.
