A South American drug courier identified and arrested by agents of the Alghero Police Station and the Sassari Flying Squad .

The man, forced to move on crutches due to physical problems, was found in possession of over a kilo of cocaine divided into 70 "eggs" .

Frequent trips abroad , with very short stays, made the police suspicious.

The agents therefore kept an eye on him and when they acquired sufficient clues they triggered a check. Thus, inside his travel bag , a cellophane bag was found which contained the 70 "eggs" of cocaine.

Then the release of handcuffs and the transfer to the Sassari prison , where the suspect is now at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
