Alghero, dog remains trapped: saved by firefighters

In Alghero, a "special mission" by the firefighters to rescue a dog, which was stuck in a closed courtyard, surrounded by three-metre high walls.

The animal had fallen into it after running away from its owner during a walk in the Bastioni Marco Polo. At that point, unable to recover it, the owner raised the alarm on 115.

A team from the local detachment arrived on site and lowered themselves into the "confined space" using a ladder, recovered the dog and returned it safe and sound to its owner.
