There is an open conflict between the Region and F2i after the announced decision of the boards of directors of Sogeaal and Geasar to incorporate the airports of Alghero and Olbia into a single company – Nord Aeroporti Sardegna.

And a political case arises from the merger of the two airports , with the councilor for transport Moro , who is also president of Psd'az , pointing the finger at the Sardinian mayor of Alghero Mario Conoci , in favor of the strategy pursued by the majority shareholder F2i.

"The method doesn't work. In our opinion, we have not been given the opportunity to carefully evaluate the important documentation and above all the negative opinion of ENAC has not been overcome. For a public administration to approve a merger against the opinion of the body in charge of airport supervision was absolutely not feasible», explains Moro.

But according to the mayor of Alghero, the Region would never shine in the management of the airport. «It seems to me that calm has been lost a bit, but also the opportunity to dialogue with a private individual who manages the airports and who must provide the area with the best service».
