Alghero, after his mother and grandmother left him without money, he kicked down the front door: young man arrested.

There have been moments of tension in the centre of Alghero in recent days, where officers from the police station intervened following a report to 112 of a young man who was attempting to force his way into the home where his mother and grandmother had taken refuge.

According to the police's reconstruction , the boy allegedly went to his grandmother's house to ask her mother for money , presumably to buy alcohol or drugs. When she refused, he allegedly reacted by repeatedly kicking the front door , damaging it and preventing the two women from leaving the house. Firefighters had to intervene to allow the two women to leave the apartment, while the mother and grandmother, in a state of severe shock, were assisted by emergency medical services.

During the check, the officers also found a switchblade on the young man, which was immediately seized.

Following the investigation, the boy was reported to the competent authorities.
