A ten meter flight from the Cristoforo Colombo seafront. A 50-year-old man, originally from Uri, who fell from the ramparts and ended up on the rocks below is serious but not life-threatening. Carabinieri, firefighters, two 118 ambulances and a helicopter were on site.

Health workers managed to recover the injured man by land, who was then admitted to the Civil hospital with several fractures in his lower limbs. His two white dogs remained on the seafront.

The local police took care of them and are now trying to find temporary accommodation for the two animals.
