They landed with a wooden boat towards sunset and certainly did not go unnoticed by the last bathers and tourists who were about to leave the beach: in fact, a new landing of migrants this evening, no more than an hour ago, in the seaside resort of Porto Pino , with the Carbonia Police committed to tracking down and then identifying twenty young Algerians.

They add up to the 56 arrivals in the Sardinian southwest in the last 24 hours . The latter group arrived between the first and second beaches and was then led to the main dock by the police officers to be then delivered to the van of the company authorized to transport them to the reception center in Montastir.

The large group should have used a wooden boat with a 40 horsepower outboard engine to be able to easily complete the crossing from the Algerian coasts to those of southern Sardinia in less than 10 hours (the sea is flat).
