Another important step towards reorganizing its presence on the territory was taken by Coldiretti. The new headquarters of the Ales area office was inaugurated, moving to Corso Cattedrale 31.
The ceremony took place in the presence of the provincial president Paolo Corrias, the provincial director Emanuele Spanò , and the mayor of Ales, Francesco Mereu.
The bishop's secretary, Don Emanuele Deidda , blessed the premises, also present were the section presidents of the Municipalities belonging to the area office and the secretary, Enrico Grussu with all the office staff, as a testimony to the strategic importance of this new location.
"We are inaugurating a new office to relaunch a concrete signal of the great attention that Coldiretti dedicates to the territory - declare the president Paolo Corrias and the director Emanuele Spanò - we are aware of the difficulties that some areas of our region are facing, between the dismantling of essential services and the risk of depopulation. For this reason, instead of retreating, we have chosen to strengthen our presence with targeted investments in offices and human resources, to guarantee even more effective support to our associated agricultural businesses" .
Coldiretti is therefore confirmed as an intermediate body that works - added Corrias and Spanò -, an organization that remains among the people and at the service of the community. Being on the territory, among citizens and agricultural entrepreneurs, means being truly close to their needs and representing their requests. Our offices are not simple offices, but points of reference for those who work the land, for those who produce and contribute to keeping the local economy alive".
The Ales area office is one of the seven operational offices that make up the Provincial Federation of Oristano, together with those of Arborea, Cabras, Cuglieri, Ghilarza, Oristano and Terralba. This office represents the point of reference for 24 Municipalities in the internal area, providing services and support to local farmers and breeders.
