Aggression with pistol and hammer in Alghero, the carabinieri on the trail of those responsible

It is a hunt for the two men who yesterday afternoon, riding a scooter, appeared in via XX Settembre, in the center of Alghero , to attack a 35-year-old with a pistol and hammer . It happened near a bar, in one of the busiest streets and in broad daylight.

The carabinieri of the Compagnia di Alghero heard some witnesses and also the victim himself, still hospitalized at the Civil Hospital with a gunshot wound on his cheek (the bullet entered and exited) and one in the leg , probably from a hammer. While one of the two centaurs remained on the bike, in fact, the other would have gone down to face the 35-year-old in a quarrel that later resulted in an attempted murder .

The patrons of a nearby public establishment reported hearing at least six screams, then a series of bursts, like the sound of gunfire.
